The Kalahari lion |
the only lion with a black mane (crinière) |
He ate last night and has a full belly |
This female Kudu runs away from us |
while a springbok stares at us |
The rain brings beautiful morning colors to the desert |
where few trees grow |
and flowers blossom in the bushes |
a big male kori bustard (outarde) goes by |
water attracts hundred of birds |
this elegant steinbok stares at me |
and scratches its back |
the ground squirrel fears raptors |
like the Bateleur Eagle |
it swells its tail... |
to get shade from the burning sun |
a couple of Oryxes watch us |
and go back to their mating ritual |
looked upon by this double band curser |
Will the Oryx chase the cheetahs(guépards) from the shade ? |
