Bobcats (Lynx Rufus)

This is the first bobcat I saw in 2006. It was big and beautiful with its  spotted fur

This one is younger and with spots only on the forelegs

I had to crawl on my elbows to get close

it was hunting..

and knew I was close

 and suddenly pounced on a rodent and disappeared

one evening I saw one crossing the road,

surprised it looked at me showing its black tufted ears

before going to hunt in the grass

I was lucky to get close to this one

it was looking for a prey

and showing its wiskered face

I walked along and it stood on a rock

kept watching

while lying on a rock

it walked again in the grass

looking for a prey...

in the beautiful evening light.
